Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026. These terms apply when you ask Legends Home & Business Locksmith to do locksmith work, and when you use this website.

Quotes

We price your job on the phone, before anyone is sent, from the work you describe and the time of day. After-hours and public holiday rates are said out loud when we quote.

If the job turns out to be materially different once we see it, we stop and give you a new quote before carrying on. You can accept it, or decline and pay only for work already done and any call-out already incurred.

Entitlement to have the work done

We can only open, change or rekey a lock for someone entitled to ask. We may ask for something that shows you live at the property or are authorised to act for the business, and we may decline a job where we cannot be satisfied.

Payment

Payment is due when the work is finished and you are happy with it. We accept cash, EFTPOS and the major cards. Business customers can ask about being invoiced on account before the job starts.

Cancelling

You can cancel without charge at any time before we have been sent to you. After we are on the way, a call-out charge may apply, and we tell you the amount at that point instead of afterwards.

Hardware you supply

If you want us to fit a lock you have bought, we check that it suits the door and tell you plainly if it does not. We are not responsible for faults that come from the hardware itself.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
